Newly re-elected Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has spoken publicly for the first time since his victory in the Anambra 2025 Governorship Election, describing the outcome as “a mandate for continued transformation and people-centered governance.”
In a statement shared via his official X (Twitter) handle, @CCSoludo, the Governor expressed gratitude to Ndi Anambra for their faith in his administration, promising to consolidate on the gains of the past four years.
“This victory is not mine alone — it belongs to every hardworking Anambra son and daughter who believes in a better, safer, and more prosperous homeland.
We have fought together, we have won together, and now we must rebuild together,” Soludo said.

Governor Soludo reaffirmed his focus on economic development, infrastructure renewal, and youth empowerment.
He emphasized that the next phase of his leadership would prioritize industrialization, digital innovation, and rural integration — aligning with his ‘Solution Agenda’ blueprint.
“Our state must continue to lead the Southeast in innovation and governance.
The world is watching, and Anambra must keep shining as a light of progress,” he declared.
🤝 Thanks to Opponents and Election Observers
Soludo also extended an olive branch to his political rivals, calling on them to join hands in building the state.
“Elections are over; governance begins. I call on all my brothers who contested to put Anambra first. Our collective destiny is greater than party differences,” he noted.
He praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and election observers for what he called “a credible, peaceful, and transparent process reflective of the people’s will.”

Governor Soludo, who ran under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), defeated candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour Party (LP) in a keenly contested poll.
INEC announced the results late Monday night, with Soludo polling the majority of votes in over 14 local government areas.
His victory marks the beginning of a second term in office, extending APGA’s dominance in the state since 2006.
