Katsina State Moral Police Cracks Down on Intoxicants
Katsina, Nigeria — The Katsina State Hisbah Board has destroyed a massive haul of alcohol and illicit substances, valued at around ₦60 million, in its crackdown on immorality.
Hisbah Commander, Dr. Aminu Usman, told reporters that the items were seized in Funtua Local Government Area and included:
- 1,750 crates of various alcoholic drinks
- 33 jerry cans of locally brewed beer
